Takes the eyeglass as its medium. The lenses become picture frames , the same visual apparatus through which one claims to see the world becomes the boundary of what one is capable of seeing. The red X forms the temples of the glasses, holding the structure in place while simultaneously constituting an unconscious gesture of negation. The field of vision inside each lens contracts progressively, collapsing into a near-invisible square. They believe they are looking. They are only confirming what they have already decided to see.
